Brand Love: Aesop

In Natural, Shop, Skin Care on April 14, 2010 at 12:51 pm

So, my friend Mel and I have been talking about natural products lately.  I’ve also been lemming the amazing packaging of products in my other friend’s bathroom.  Further investigation showed the brand I was after was named Aesop.

Using predominantly plant-based derivatives in their products, the Aesop smell is delicious.  The branding – simple, brown, classy – fits any bathroom, be it rustic, classic white or country.  Very clever, really.   Launched in Melbourne, what I particularly love about Aesop products is this lovely little line on their website: ‘We advocate the use of our products as part of a balanced life that includes a healthy diet, sensible exercise, and a regular intake of good books.’  Touche, Aesop!

The range includes skin care, hair care, fragrances, gifts and even music, and the prices are very reasonable.  Cult product – for those of you new to the brand – is their Resurrection Aromatique Hand Cream (RRP $25).  Cheap, effective and pretty.

Stocked at Remedy in Leederville, WA or online.
