There’s something about this gorgeous Rouge Dior lipstick when I open it. It doesn’t smell like lipstick. It smells like … flowers. A bouquet of beautiful, expensive flowers. Wow.
Yep, and the lipstick continues to smell like that the whole night through. I’m loving it so much that I catch myself lifting my top lip to my nose for a little whiff. Not exactly lady-like but by golly, it is beautiful!
I’m trialling Rouge Dior Haute Couleur Voluptuous Care lipstick in 752, ‘Favori Red’. The lipstick itself glides on smoothly and I only need to blot once, reapply once for it to stay on well into the early morning (drinks and dinner included). It is the small touches that make me fall in love with Rouge Dior lipstick. The smell, of course. Also the imprint of ‘Dior’ on the colour. The classic blue tube.
The perfect, perfect red shade. I love it all.
Although pink and coral seem to be the colours for spring, a red lip will always be in style. It’s a matter of finding that perfect red shade that’s important. One that lasts, that isn’t too matte, that doesn’t dry and maybe one that gives you bonuses (scent, for example). This shade ticks all those boxes. It’s a little bit darker than a typical red, more scarlett, which is even better. Perfect lipstick found.
