On Coveted Canvas over the past week we’ve been looking at the makeup looks of Sex and the City 2 with Charlotte, Samantha and Carrie‘s how to’s. Now we’re rounding up the four fabulous friends with Miranda, the lawyer, mother and good friend.

.

Miranda’s makeup is a little more playful in the second part of the movie when she has more time for her.  Rimmel’s Lasting Finish Intense Wear Lipstick in Pink Shimmer (RRP $9.95) is not a likely choice for a red head but works well because of its shiny qualities.  Other colours great for those with fair skin and flaming hair include red, bronze and nude.

Now that Miranda has more free time and is excited about her days, she doesn’t want to spend hours getting ready.  Less time in the shower is better, so instead of washing her hair when it gets a little bit oily, she should try Batiste Dry Shampoo in Boho (RRP $12.95).  It smells fruity with orange, passionflower and lemon scents, also adding to the freshness dry shampoo provides.  Plus all those are similar to the spices Miranda so adores in Abu Dhabi.  If those smells aren’t for you, try the dry shampoo in Diva, Tropical, Blush or Original.

My favourite extravagant scene from the movie.

Miranda’s hair is her most striking feature, so in order to keep it looking its best, regular salon visits are essential.  Short hair and coloured hair are the hardest to look after, so be sure to stick to your appointments wherever possible and try not to leave more than six weeks between them.
