There are a bunch of ways you can look smokin’ hot during the final hours of 2010, and they all involve preparation. Be sure to tick (fake) tanning, moisturising, hair removal and priming off your list before you even look at that foundation.

Step 1 – Prep.
As with any killer makeup, it’s important to prep your skin to look amazing. The best way to be on your way to bright skin is to slough away all the dead skin you already have.
There are some mornings where a soaked cotton wool ball over the eye or an extra 30 minutes on snooze just don’t cut it and you end up looking like you’ve had no sleep and twelve tequila shots. No more!

While it never truly went anywhere, tinted moisturiser has connotations of sneaky ways to wear makeup to school when you weren’t allowed (“Miss, it’s moisturiser!”) and a go-to when you couldn’t afford or weren’t allowed to buy actual foundation.
Jane Iredale’s version – Dream Tint – has set the bar high in my trial. The coverage is fabulous and the colour matches perfectly to my skin tone. Plus, it’s thick and rich and extra moisturising. Hair
There are three ways you can go with your hair for a formal occasion. You can choose to go trendy, opt for a casual look and let your dress shine, or go all out and make it a formal up-do. It does depend on the event as to which type of hair style you use, however we’ve gone and selected the best of the three and we’ll tell you how to do them, too. (Lucky you!)
