The Best of Beauty

There’s a magazine on the stands that you all should know.  It’s called Allure and it’s a bit of a beauty bible.  There’s no Aussie version but the October American issue has just been released with Blake Lively on the cover and a whole lot of great articles.  My favourite is by far Best of Beauty where “the 190 greatest shampoos, lipsticks, moisturisers, concealers, frizz busters, mascara, wrinkle fighters, and more – handpicked and field-tested by Allure’s editors”.

Beige Eye

Beauty routine (day):  Oh gosh!  Okay, at the moment:  Sodashi Lime & Clay Cleanser w/Kosmea Muslin Cloth, Philosophy Shower Gel in Melon Sorbet (delish), Sodashi moisturiser.  Really simple, I’m low-key / a bit lazy with this at the moment.

Brand Love: Aesop

So, my friend Mel and I have been talking about natural products lately.  I’ve also been lemming the amazing packaging of products in my other friend’s bathroom.  Further investigation showed the brand I was after was named Aesop.

Using predominantly plant-based derivatives in their products, the Aesop smell is delicious.  The branding – simple, brown, classy – fits any bathroom, be it rustic, classic white or country.  Very clever, really.
